The e-magazine “The woman online” presents four basic ways to straighten your hair at home without a lot of effort. Try them and decide which one suits you best.

How to straighten your hair at home – 4 Basic ways

1.Use homemade creams to straighten your hair at home

A good way to straighten your hair at home and don’t visit a hair studio, is the option of preparing your own homemade creams that are suitable for hair straightening. They are said to be effective and have pretty good results. It is easy to find some recipes available on the internet for homemade creams and lotions that are helpful in hair straightening. This method is suggested as a mild way, totally natural which doesn’t have any negative effects on your hair. The disadvantage is that in many cases it is required for some time to pass until you see the results.

2.Use hair straightening products from the market to straighten your hair at home

As you probably already know, there are many products in the market that you could use to help you straighten your hair at home. We are talking about creams, lotions, masks or even a spray. The good thing with these products is that they have stronger results and are more effective than homemade products. But, you should know that they have chemicals and that’s the way they work and succeed in hair straightening.
The result is better but your hair may suffer. The chemical ingredients in these creams, lotions, etc., isn’t the ideal way if you use them often.

3. Use an iron-hair straightener to straighten your hair at home

The most common method you could use to straighten your hair at home, is a special iron that works as a hair straightener. Almost every woman has one at home or has tried this method once. It is a classic way and a common solution. There are many iron straighteners in the market -some more expensive but also others that don’t cost very much-, but it depends on the brand and of course the quality. If you opt for a good brand and a more expensive iron it is almost ensured that it will last for a long long time, you only buy it once and it doesn’t let you down. Its use is very easy and doesn’t tire you and usually the result is very satisfying and immediate. When you are in a hurry and want your hair to be straight in a few minutes it is the ideal solution. The great disadvantage of this method, is the strong temperature that can damage your hair, especially if you put your hair in this procedure in a daily basis.

4.Use a hair dryer to straighten your hair at home

A less “aggressive” method from the previous, to straighten your hair at home, is simply to use a hair dryer. It is classic and common for many women that follow this almost daily. According to this method, after washing hair follows the hair drying with a more specific and accurate way to achieve the hair straightening. You take a hair stride each time and with the help of a brush you apply the dryer and straighten the hair. The procedure is simple, not as simple as using an iron but the advantage of a hair dryer is that the temperature is not as high as with the iron and that has less damage for hair. But this also discomforts hair and is more time consuming.
